Eileen Krol, RPC-C #4674
Registered Professional Counsellor Candidate
Welcome, I'm Eileen Krol. I work with people who want more from their lives and relationships. You don’t have to know how to get there, you just have to be willing to show up and join me in the conversation.
I practice an Emotionally Focused Therapy approach to individual and couple therapy. EFT is an experiential therapy, it looks at how the emotional blueprint we learn in our earlier years may no longer be serving us in our present relationship with others and ourselves. It's an empirically proven therapeutic approach that creates self-compassion and curiosity for why things are the way they are, and facilitates positive corrective experiences to reshape our relationships. This leads to lasting change in the emotional responses that strengthen secure attachment in a relationship.
The same roadmap can be followed in therapy with individuals using Emotionally focused individual therapy (EFiT) This individual approach offers corrective experiences, just like we see in couples therapy, that positively impact view of self and other and shape stable, lasting change.
Developed by Dr. Sue Johnson, EFT is now scientifically proven to be the most successful and enduring form of couples therapy available. According to a metanalysis, 90% of couples who go through EFT significantly improve their relationship and 70-75% of couples no longer fit criteria for relationship distress following treatment. The power of this tested and proven framework gives me the confidence to deliver counselling that’s tailored specifically to your unique experience. Connection and safety can flourish here.
As a mother of two young children, I see first hand how important a secure and healthy relationship is with myself and my loved ones. What would you like to see happen in your relationship with yourself or with others? Reach out to schedule an initial meeting at no cost.
